Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Technical Functional Analyst to serve as a critical link between business stakeholders and the Java development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering and analyzing business requirements, translating them into functional and technical specifications, and supporting the delivery of enterprise-grade Java applications.

This role requires a robust understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), Java-based application architecture, APIs, microservices, data integration, and Agile delivery methodologies. The candidate will collaborate closely with Product Owners, Architects, Developers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure successful solution design, development, testing, and deployment.

Key Responsibilities

Business & Functional Analysis

Partner with business stakeholders to understand business objectives, operational processes, pain points, and technology requirements.
Gather, analyze, validate, and prioritize functional and non-functional requirements.
Conduct requirement workshops,



stakeholder interviews, and solution discussions.
Translate business requirements into detailed functional specifications, user stories, use cases, process flows, and acceptance criteria.
Create and maintain requirements traceability throughout the project lifecycle.

Technical Analysis & Solution Support

Analyze existing Java applications, system architecture, integrations, APIs, databases, and data flows.
Collaborate with Solution Architects and Development teams to design scalable and efficient application solutions.
Work closely with Java developers to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.
Perform impact analysis for application enhancements, upgrades, and new feature implementations.
Create system workflows, UML diagrams, sequence diagrams, and data mapping documents.
Review technical designs and identify gaps, dependencies, and risks.
