NRT seeks an experienced Aerospace Structural Analysis Engineer to lead and execute, structural analysis and testing, using analytical methods, finite element models/simulations and other analysis tools throughout the product lifecycle.

Roles And Responsibilities

Lead and manage the structural analysis team to conduct analysis of air vehicles and ground systems.
Discern the right level of analysis to apply to meet the requirements (static, energetic, modal, thermal, inertia relief, aero-elastic, buckling, thermal for composite, metal and plastic components & assemblies).
Quantify and document load cases and environments.
Execute hand calculations and first-order models prior to undertaking detailed analysis.
Support the design, instrumentation selection, execution and data analysis of ground and flight tests to validate models and predictions, including static, dynamic, shock, and fatigue tests. Translate analysis/ test results into actionable design recommendations and risk mitigation strategies.
Lead trade studies and mass optimization efforts to improve the design.




Collaborate with other hardware engineering disciplines and guide design decisions based on analysis results.
Ensure design, analyses and testing meet certification requirements.
Stay current with advancements in stress analysis techniques, materials technology, and industry standards.

Education & Experience

B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Aeronautical) with minimum 8 years of Industrial Experience or M.Tech (Mechanical/Aeronautical) with 6 years of Industrial Experience.

Must Have Skills

At least 5 years’ experience in analysis of main aircraft structural components (metallic and composites).
Deep understanding of statics, dynamics, mechanics of materials, and materials properties (composites & other advanced materials).
Experienced using FEA software NASTRAN / APEX with a focus in NASTRAN solution sequences for linear and non-linear static, dynamic, buckling & aero-elastic analysis.
