Role Description The Export Sales Manager is a full-time remote role responsible for driving international sales of agricultural commodities and trade services through Maalexi’s platform. The role involves identifying and developing export opportunities in the United States and GCC markets, managing existing international customer relationships, and negotiating commercial terms that align with Maalexi’s risk and compliance standards. The Export Sales Manager will prepare and execute led generation, sales plans, coordinate with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment, and monitor trade performance across key regions. Day-to-day activities include prospecting and onboarding current clients, conducting market analysis, preparing proposals and presentations, and using data from the platform to optimize pricing and sales strategies. The role also requires close collaboration with product and technology teams to provide feedback from global buyers, and to support the adoption of MAALEXI as a trusted sourcing platform.
Strong experience is required in developing agri-food or agricultural exports to the United States, Europe and GCC, and established buyer networks in these markets.
Qualifications
Candidates should possess strong skills in Sales and International Sales, with a proven ability to generate, negotiate, and close cross-border deals.
Candidates should possess skills in Export and International Business, including knowledge of global trade practices, documentation, and regulatory considerations.
Candidates should possess Business Planning skills, with experience in creating sales forecasts, market entry plans, and performance reports.
Relevant experience in agricultural commodities, supply chain, trade finance, is highly beneficial.
Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced, data-driven environment.
