TCS is Hiring for Snowflake Developer

nSkills and Experience Required:

- 5–10 years of experience in developing and implementing data solutions using Snowflake.n
- Strong proficiency in SQL for complex queries, stored procedures, and performance tuning.n
- Hands-on experience in ETL/ELT development, data ingestion, and transformation using Snowflake features (Stages, Streams, Tasks).n
- Familiarity with Snowflake architecture—virtual warehouses, micro-partitions, Time Travel, and data sharing.n
- Experience integrating Snowflake with multiple data sources (on-prem databases, APIs, cloud storage like AWS S3/Azure Data Lake).n
- Knowledge of performance optimization techniques and cost management in Snowflake.n
- Exposure to Python or other scripting languages for automation and orchestration.n
- Understanding of security best practices—RBAC, masking, encryption, and compliance standards.n
- SnowPro Core certification preferred.n




- Solid problem-solving and communication skills.n
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.n
- Experienced in working in a customer facing role.n

- Develop and maintain data pipelines for ingestion, transformation, and loading into Snowflake.n
- Implement optimized SQL queries and stored procedures for analytics and reporting.n
- Integrate Snowflake with various data sources ensuring secure and reliable data flow.n
- Apply best practices for performance tuning and cost optimization of virtual warehouses.n
- Implement security measures including RBAC, data masking, and encryption.n
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to deliver scalable and efficient solutions.n
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data ingestion, transformation, and query performance.n
- Document technical solutions and provide support for deployments and enhancements.n
- Stay updated on Snow
