Job Title: Nursing Educator
Department: Nursing
Location: Raigad Hospital & Research Centre
Reports To: Nursing Superintendent

Job Purpose
To plan, coordinate, and deliver nursing education and clinical training programs to ensure high standards of clinical competency, patient safety, and qualified nursing practice.

Key Responsibilities
Conduct induction and orientation programs for newly joined nursing staff.
Plan and conduct regular clinical teaching and competency-based training.
Organize demonstrations, workshops, skill training, and CNE programs.
Develop and update nursing training materials, protocols, and competency checklists.
Assess nursing staff knowledge and clinical skills and identify training needs.
Ensure compliance with nursing policies, infection-control practices,



and patient-safety standards.
Maintain training records, attendance, competency assessments, and educational documentation.
Coordinate with Nursing Administration and clinical departments for staff training.
Support hospital accreditation, audits, inspections, and regulatory requirements.
Mentor nursing staff and promote evidence-based nursing practices.
Qualification
B.Sc. Nursing / Post Basic B.Sc. Nursing / M.Sc. Nursing from a recognized institution.
Valid registration with the State Nursing Council.
Experience
Minimum 5 years of relevant clinical and/or nursing teaching experience.
