Who We Are

We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T;) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.

Roles And Responsibilities

Development of embedded software for applications such as sensors & servo integration, data acquisition, perception & analysis, flight control, swarming and data post processing.
Team-oriented work with systems, hardware and flight controls teams.
Execute tests as per defined test cases, and perform unit testing for robustness, reliability and repeatability.
Prepare associated documentation for company records and design reviews.

Must Have Skills

Proficiency in C/C++ for event driven/object oriented software design and development




Experienced in low-level drivers, bootloader and board support packages development.
Experience embedded communication protocols like SPI, I2C, CAN, RS485, TCP/IP, UDP etc.
Experience with version control tools like GIT, SVN, etc
Good hands on experience with equipment such as digital multimeters, debuggers, development boards, oscilloscopes, etc.

Good To Have Skills

Prior experience with memory constrained RTOS and concurrent programming for non- trivial systems (requiring multithreading and IPC)
Exposure to MATLAB/Simulink simulation tool, auto-code generation, SIL/HIL Setups.
OS level application development experience in Python, Linux
Experienced in common robotic systems frameworks like ROS, Gazebo etc
Exposure to standards such DO-178 B/C, MISRA-C
Exposure to open-source autopilot stacks like PX4, Ardupilot etc.
