NRT’s product development portfolio includes cutting-edge technologies like solar powered stratospheric High Altitude Pseudo Satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform, Manned Unmanned Teaming (MUM-T) using UAV swarms, and more.
NRT seeks an experienced Aerospace Structural Design Engineer to own the full development lifecycle, from conceptual to detailed design and analysis of primary and secondary aircraft structural parts.
Roles And Responsibilities
Utilize first-principle methods and design tools to develop unmanned aircraft structures.
Own development of primary and secondary aircraft structural parts and assemblies (metallic and composite)
from preliminary design through prototype manufacturing & production.
Apply design for manufacturing concepts to create solutions that are cost effective and easy to manufacture at scale.
Conduct trade studies and perform design and analysis to determine an optimal solution for weight, performance, manufacturability, cost, schedule and certification.
Collaborate in a multidisciplinary setting to solve design problems, systems integration, manufacturing, project engineering and other aspects.
Understand and contribute towards modelling and finite element analysis at detailed component level, major assembly level and aircraft level, including strength and buckling. Also contribute towards design and testing for damage tolerance and delamination of composite parts.
Education & Experience
B.E/B.Tech (Mechanical/Aeronautical) with minimum 10 years of Industrial Experience or M.Tech (Mechanical/Aeronau
