Role Description
The Senior Engineer – Network and Security is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network infrastructures to ensure optimal performance, scalability, and security. This role requires expertise in advanced network data protocols, enterprise network architecture, and security systems. The Senior Network Engineer will also play a key role in troubleshooting critical network issues, mentoring junior engineers, and collaborating with cross-functional IT teams to develop and enforce network policies. Staying updated with the latest networking technologies and best practices is essential to continuously improving the network workplace. Additionally, the Lead Network Engineer will work closely with the Network and Security Manager to coordinate the Network team, ensuring effective resource allocation, project execution, and network security enforcement.

Responsibilities

Assist in the design and deployment of functional and scalable network solutions.
Configure, install,



and maintain various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
Monitor network performance, ensuring system availability and reliability.
Diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve advanced network issues efficiently.
Perform network maintenance and system upgrades, including patches, service packs, hot fixes, and security configurations.
Implement and manage network security measures to protect data, software, and hardware.
Participate in IT infrastructure projects within the service area.
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all network implementations.
Lead and mentor junior network engineers, providing technical guidance and training.
Ensure compliance with industry standards and organizational network policies.
Collaborate with IT teams to design and enhance network architectures.
