About the Role

We are seeking an experienced SQL Database Administrator (SQL DBA) to manage, monitor, secure, and optimize Microsoft SQL Server environments supporting mission-critical business applications. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring database availability, backup reliability, performance optimization, security compliance, and proactive monitoring across multiple production databases.

Key Responsibilities




Manage and maintain a SQL Server environment hosting multiple client databases
Perform daily restore validation to ensure backup integrity and disaster recovery readiness
Run and monitor DBCC integrity checks across databases on a scheduled basis
Configure, automate, and maintain SQL Server Agent jobs for routine database operations
Develop and maintain data-masking procedures for non-production/test environments to ensure data security and compliance
Monitor and optimize database performance, including query tuning, index optimization, and execution plan analysis
Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, blocking, and deadlocks proactively
Maintain backup and recovery strategy in line with business continuity requirements
Maintain database security including login/user/role management and access controls
Collaborate with development teams on database design, T-SQL scripting, and performance tuning
