We are looking for an engineer who has personally built production integrations with veterinary practice-management systems.

This is NOT a general API/backend role and general healthcare/EHR experience alone is not enough.

Solid preference for direct experience with one or more of:
- Pulse / eVetPractice / Covetrus
- AVImark
- IDEXX Cornerstone
- Impromed
- ezyVet
- Vetspire
- other major veterinary PMS platforms

We need someone who has personally handled:
- full historical patient/medical-record backfill
- SOAP/clinical note retrieval
- incremental/near-real-time sync
- reconciliation and recovery after missed data
- authentication/session management
- clinic-by-clinic deployment
- verified writeback where supported
- local/on-premise connectors where APIs are insufficient

The immediate assignment is not research.





It is to help us get a real veterinary hospital continuously synchronized into our platform as quickly and reliably as possible.

3. How did you perform historical backfill and prove completeness?
4. How did you keep the integration current after the initial backfill?
5. What real-world sync/writeback failures did you encounter and how did you recover?
6. What update latency did you achieve in production?
