Role Description
We are looking for a Content & Social Lead who can build and run Inkling's content engine.
This is not a traditional Social Media Manager role.
We don't need someone whose primary job is to make content calendars, write captions and post on Instagram.
We need someone who can take:
Consumer insight → Idea → Hook → Script → Shoot → Edit → Publish → Analyse → Iterate
…and do it repeatedly.
You will own the day-to-day content output for Inkling across Instagram, Meta, YouTube Shorts and other relevant short-form platforms.
Your goal is simple:
Make more great content, faster — and continuously improve what works.
What You'll Own
Content Strategy
Build Inkling's monthly and weekly content strategy.
Identify content pillars, formats, themes and recurring series.
Translate brand positioning into content people actually want to watch.
Balance brand-building content with performance-oriented content.
Identify trends, formats and cultural moments relevant to Inkling.
Build a clear content testing roadmap.
Content Ideation
You will be expected to generate a high volume of strong ideas.
Develop Reel concepts, hooks, scripts and storyboards.
Create multiple hooks and variations for winning concepts.
Identify current creative angles for our products.
Turn customer problems, comments, reviews and insights into content.
Study competitors and relevant creators to identify winning formats.
Constantly build Inkling's creative swipe file and idea bank.
