Assistant Sales Manager (ASM) / Key Account Manager (KAM) – Government & Military Hospitals

Key Responsibilities
Develop and manage business with Government Hospitals, Military Hospitals, Defence Healthcare Institutions, and other Government Healthcare Accounts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, purchase departments, medical officers, biomedical teams, and hospital administration.
Identify recent business opportunities and achieve assigned sales targets.
Manage the complete sales cycle from lead generation and product presentation to quotation, negotiation, order closure, and payment follow-up.
Handle government tenders, institutional enquiries, rate contracts, and procurement requirements.
Coordinate with internal teams for quotations, product demonstrations, technical documentation, order processing, and after-sales support.
Conduct regular hospital visits and ensure continuous engagement with key accounts.




Monitor competitor activities, market trends, pricing, and upcoming government procurement opportunities.
Ensure timely submission of tenders, quotations, technical documents, and other required commercial documentation.
Maintain accurate sales pipelines, account plans, visit reports, and business forecasts.
Work closely with the management and sales team to develop strategies for business growth in the government and defence healthcare segment.

Required Skills & Experience
4–6 years of relevant experience in institutional/government sales.
Experience in Medical Devices, Healthcare Equipment, Hospital Equipment, or a related industry is preferred.
Prior experience dealing with Government Hospitals / Military Hospitals / Defence Institutions will be highly preferred.
Strong understanding of Government procurement, tenders, GeM, institutional sales, and government purchase processes.
