Sampling & Production Executive (Designer Fashion / Export Sampling)

Role Overview

SUNIRA is looking for a Sampling & Production Executive to support the Senior Production & Design Manager in developing export-ready samples and production for international markets and trade shows.

The role will involve coordinating sampling for womenswear and accessories, ensuring high standards of craftsmanship, fit, and finishing.

Experience

4-8 years of experience in fashion sampling and designer production, preferably with contemporary Indian designer brands.

Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Technology, Fashion Merchandising, or a related field.

Key Responsibilities

Sampling & Development
- Coordinate sampling for seasonal collections and export ranges intended for international trade shows and buyers.
- Work closely with the design and production teams to translate design concepts into finished samples.
- Ensure fit, construction, finishing, and detailing meet brand standards.

Export Sampling




- Prepare and manage export-ready samples for international buyers, showrooms, and trade shows.
- Maintain accurate sample records, specifications, and sample timelines.

Production Coordination
- Track sampling and production timelines to ensure deadlines are met.
- Coordinate with karigars, vendors, and production units for garment development.

Accessories Development
- Support development of accessories including bags, belts, and potlis.
- Coordinate material sourcing and sampling for accessory collections.

Quality Control
- Conduct quality checks and fittings to ensure consistency and finishing standards.
- Troubleshoot sampling or construction issues with pattern masters and tailors.

Key Skills
- Strong understanding of garment construction and designer sampling
- Experience working with handloom, embroidery, or craft-based garments
- Ability to manage multiple samples and timelines simultaneously
- Robust attention to fit, finishing, and detail
