Job Title: Machine Operator

Department: Production (Edible Oil Industry)

Location: Balasar,Kadi, Mehsana

Job Summary:
The Machine Operator is responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery to ensure smooth and effective edible oil production. The role involves maintaining product quality, minimizing downtime, and following safety and operational standards. The operator may also take charge of the shift in the absence of the Production Supervisor.

Key Roles & Responsibilities:
1. Machine Operation
- Operate and monitor machines as per SOPs.
- Ensure proper feeding of raw materials (oil seeds, crude oil, packaging materials).
- Maintain required production output and machine settings.
- Inspect machines regularly for leakage or malfunction and report issues.

2. Production & Supervision
- Follow shift schedules and meet production targets.
- Ensure continuous production flow with mínimal downtime.
- Act as a supervisor when required in the absence of the Production Supervisor.

Safety & Compliance
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies.
- Use PPE at all times while on the production floor.
- Report unsafe conditions or incidents immediately.

4. Quality Control
- Monitor oil quality (clarity, consistency) and packaging standards.
- Identify defects such as leakage or improper sealing and report promptly.

5. Maintenance & Reporting
- Perform routine machine checks and basic cleaning.
- Inform maintenance team about breakdowns or technical issues.
- Maintain daily production and machine records.

6. Housekeeping & Coordination
- Ensure cleanliness of machines and work area.
- Work closely with team members to achieve production goals.
