The clinic operates as a consultation-only, non-acute model, focused on long-term disease modification rather than episodic care.

We are establishing a specialist affiliate wing and are seeking a Rheumatologist for sessional practice.

Role Overview

This is not a high-volume OPD or hospital-based acute care role.

The position involves structured outpatient rheumatology within an integrated framework, including:
- inflammatory arthritis (RA, spondyloarthropathy)
- connective tissue disorders
- chronic musculoskeletal pain syndromes
- early autoimmune disease detection and monitoring
- metabolic-inflammatory interface (obesity, insulin resistance, systemic inflammation)




- long-term disease monitoring and medication optimisation

The role emphasises clinical reasoning, pattern recognition, and longitudinal care, not episodic symptom control.

Essential Qualifications
- MD / DNB / DM Rheumatology (or equivalent recognised qualification)
- Valid medical registration
- Experience in outpatient rheumatology practice

Preferred
- Interest in chronic disease modelling and long-term patient follow-up
- Experience managing early and undifferentiated autoimmune conditions
- Comfort working with overlapping metabolic and inflammatory states
- Exposure to international clinical systems (Australia, UK, US, Canada or equivalent)
- Ability to communicate uncertainty and long-term strategy clearly to patients
