VMC Setter (4th Axis Experience):
We are seeking a skilled VMC Setter with specialized 4th axis machining experience to join our precision manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end setup and operation of Vertical Machining Centers to produce high-precision components. You will work closely with the production and quality teams to ensure zero-defect manufacturing and optimal cycle times.
- Machine Setup & 4th Axis Configuration: Expertly set up VMC machines, including mounting workpieces and aligning complex 4th axis fixtures or rotary tables.
- Tooling Management: Select appropriate cutting tools, holders, and inserts. Perform precise tool length and work coordinate offsets.
- Programming & Adjustments: Load CNC programs (Fanuc, Siemens, or Haas) and make real-time program alterations or offsets to maintain tight tolerances.
- Quality Inspection: Conduct first-piece and in-process inspections using precision instruments like Vernier calipers, micrometers, and height gauges.
- Maintenance:



Perform daily preventive maintenance and troubleshoot minor machine malfunctions to minimize downtime.

Required Qualifications & Skills
- Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of hands-on experience in VMC setting and operation.
- Education: ITI, Diploma, or BE in Mechanical/Production Engineering.
- Technical Proficiency:
- Strong command of G-code and M-code programming.
- Proficiency with controllers such as Fanuc, Siemens.:
- Expert ability to read complex engineering drawings and GD&T; symbols.
- Soft Skills: Exceptional attention to detail, problem-solving aptitude, and the ability to work in a quick-paced manufacturing environment.
