Key ResponsibilitiesPatient Care
- Provide direct nursing care to patients as per doctor’s instructions.
- Monitor patient’s vital signs (BP, pulse, temperature, respiration).
- Administer medications and injections as prescribed.
- Assist doctors during examination and procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and nursing notes.
Clinical Duties
- Prepare patients for procedures, surgeries, and diagnostic tests.
- Handle medical equipment safely and efficiently.
- Maintain infection control practices (hand hygiene, PPE usage).
- Follow NABH protocols and hospital policies.
Emergency Handling
- Respond promptly to emergency situations.
- Assist in CPR and life-saving procedures.
- Inform doctors immediately about patient condition changes.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain patient charts, treatment sheets, and reports.
- Record intake-output charts and medication administration.
- Ensure proper handover during shift changes.
Patient & Attendant Care
- Educate patients and relatives regarding treatment and care.
- Provide emotional support and counseling to patients.
Coordination
- Coordinate with doctors, technicians, and other departments.
- Ensure smooth workflow within the ward/OPD/ICU.
Infection Control & Safety
- Follow sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Ensure biomedical waste segregation as per guidelines.
- Maintain cleanliness of ward and patient surroundings.
Skills Required:
