Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies, procedures, and safe work practices for foundry operations
- Ensure compliance with local labor laws, factory acts, and statutory safety requirements:
- Identify hazards related to molten metal, heat, dust, fumes, noise, electricity, and heavy machinery.:
- Perform regular safety inspections and audits of furnaces, cranes, ladles, electrical systems, and PPE usage
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, prepare reports, and recommend corrective/preventive actions
- Maintain statutory registers, permits, and safety documentation.

Hazards Managed in Foundry Environment
- High-temperature furnaces and molten metal
- Silica dust and toxic fumes
- Heavy lifting and crane operations
- Fire and explosion risks




- Electrical and mechanical hazards
- High noise and vibration levels

Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of industrial safety and foundry processes:
- Ability to conduct risk assessments and incident investigations
- Knowledge of statutory safety regulations
- Good communication and training skills
- Analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong shop-floor presence and leadership
