Job Title: IBM MQ Administrator

Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Manage, administer, and maintain IBM MQ infrastructure across various environments.
- Install, configure, and upgrade IBM MQ software and related components.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of messaging systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain messaging solutions.
- Develop and implement best practices for IBM MQ configurations, security, and performance tuning.
- Perform routine maintenance, backups, and disaster recovery procedures for messaging systems.
- Create and maintain documentation, including operational procedures and system configurations.
- Provide support, guidance, and training to junior team members as needed.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in messaging administration.

Requirements:
- 8 or more years of hands-on experience in IBM MQ administration.
- Proficiency in installing, configuring,



and maintaining IBM MQ in enterprise environments.
- Strong knowledge of messaging concepts, protocols, and technologies.
- Experience in performance monitoring, tuning, and troubleshooting IBM MQ issues.
- Familiarity with scripting languages (e.g., Shell, Python) for automation tasks.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks.
- Certifications in IBM MQ or related fields are a plus.
