About the Role
We are looking for a Government Grants & Strategic Programs Manager who can identify and secure government funding, innovation grants, strategic programs, and government contracts for BlackMass Energies.
You will work directly with the founders, R&D;, and business teams to identify opportunities across India and global markets, understand eligibility and requirements, build applications, coordinate submissions, and drive them through to approval.
This is an execution role, not a documentation role.
You will be expected to find opportunities, build the case, submit applications, manage stakeholders, and help convert government programs into capital, R&D; support,



infrastructure, partnerships, and contracts.
What You Will Own1. Government Grants & Funding
Identify and apply for:
Central and state government grants
R&D; and innovation grants
Startup and deep-tech funding programs
Technology development programs
Manufacturing incentives
Climate-tech and clean-tech funding
Battery and energy-transition schemes
Critical mineral and resource-security programs
Non-dilutive funding opportunities
Build a continuously updated database of relevant schemes, eligibility criteria, funding amounts, deadlines, and application requirements.
2. Critical Minerals & Rare Earth Programs
Deeply track government initiatives related to:
Critical minerals
Rare earth elements
Battery materials
Battery recycling
Mineral processing and refining
Strategic materials
Resource security
Domestic manufacturing
Advanced materials
Circular economy
Identify opportunities under NCMM
