We are a start-up based out of Bengaluru & Delhi NCR. We are engaged in development of next generation missions and technologies (NGM&T;) towards future warfare needs of the Indian defence forces. It is undertaking research towards enhancing persistence and autonomy for unmanned vehicles and robotic swarms. NRT’s product development portfolio includes a solar power stratospheric high altitude pseudo satellite (HAPS) unmanned platform and an air/ground launched stand-off autonomous system.
Roles And Responsibilities
Manage the HW team and partners and deliver the products as per schedule
Take up complete ownership of the product and ensure that all blockers are adequately taken care of leaving no technical debt
Work with cross functional teams and vendors to ensure seamless collaboration
Evaluate new technologies and innovate to improve product competitiveness
Mentor junior engineers and guide them as needed
Must Have Skills
Experience in Product design and development from requirements to detailed design and analysis spanning the complete product life cycle.
Experience in design and development of products for Avionics, Defence or space applications is highly desirable.
Experience of working with multi-disciplinary team and vendors in HW/SW Co-Design
Experience in performing feasibility analysis from requirements in all phases of product design and deliver required deliverables in each phase.
Knowledge of using simulation tools
Experience of product performance evaluation (Hardware Verification) and product qualification to comply to MIL-STD and/or DO-160 standards
Experience in use of DFMEA, DFT and DFM tools. Have an understanding of what works and what does not work.
Strong problem solving skills and troubleshooting skills on electronics systems in identifying the root-cause and fixing with an productive solution and driving the process improvement with lessons learnt.
