TCS Face to Face Drive | Snowflake Data Engineer | Chennai | 5 to 10 Years Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is hiring experienced Snowflake Data Engineers for our Chennai location. Drive Date: 5th September 2026 (Saturday) Location: Chennai Experience: 5 to 10 Years Required Skills Candidates should have hands-on experience in at least 3 of the following core skills: ✅ Snowflake Data Warehouse ✅ Azure Data Factory (ADF) ✅ Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2) ✅ SQL ✅ ETL / ELT Development Key Responsibilities - Design, develop, and maintain end-to-end ETL/ELT pipelines using Snowflake and Azure technologies. - Build and optimize data ingestion frameworks from ADLS Gen2 to Snowflake. - Implement data loading solutions using Snowpipe, COPY INTO, Storage Integrations, and External/Internal Stages. - Develop incremental data processing solutions using Streams, Tasks, and MERGE operations. - Create and maintain scalable data models, views, stored procedures, and SQL scripts. - Optimize Snowflake warehouse performance, query execution, and storage utilization.



- Collaborate with business stakeholders, BI teams, and data architects to deliver analytics solutions. - Implement security and governance practices including RBAC, Time Travel, and Zero-Copy Cloning. - Monitor data pipelines, troubleshoot production issues, and perform root cause analysis. - Follow best practices for DevOps, CI/CD, data quality, and documentation. Technical Requirements - Strong expertise in Snowflake Data Warehouse. - Hands-on experience with Azure Data Factory (ADF) and Azure Data Lake Storage (ADLS Gen2). - Robust proficiency in SQL and Data Warehousing Concepts. - Experience in ETL/ELT Development and cloud-based data migration. - Working knowledge of Snowpipe, Streams & Tasks, MERGE Operations. - Experience with Azure Cloud Services. - Strong understanding of Performance Tuning & Optimization. - Familiarity with Git / Azure DevOps and CI/CD practices. ⭐ Preferred Skills - Python
