Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Network Engineer with strong expertise in Cisco enterprise networking technologies, including Routing & Switching, Cisco Wireless, Cisco Nexus, Infoblox, Cisco ISE, and Cisco SD-WAN. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, troubleshooting, and supporting enterprise network infrastructure while ensuring high availability, security, and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, implement, configure, and support enterprise LAN, WAN, and WLAN environments.
- Configure and troubleshoot Cisco Routing & Switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, HSRP, VRRP, VLANs, NAT, and ACLs.
- Deploy and manage Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus switches in campus and data center environments.
- Administer and troubleshoot Cisco Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Access Points, SSIDs, RF optimization, and wireless security.
- Configure and support Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela) solutions including WAN Edge routers, vManage, vSmart, and vBond.
- Implement and manage Cisco Identity Services Engine (ISE) for Network Access Control (NAC), 802.1X authentication, TACACS+, RADIUS, guest access, and BYOD.
- Administer Infoblox for DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management (DDI/IPAM).
- Monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement performance tuning.
- Perform firmware upgrades, patching, backup, disaster recovery, and configuration management.
- Troubleshoot complex network issues across LAN, WAN, Wireless, Data Center, and SD-WAN environments.
- Collaborate with security,



infrastructure, and application teams to ensure network availability and compliance.
- Maintain network documentation, topology diagrams, SOPs, and operational procedures.
- Participate in 24x7 on-call support and incident resolution when required.

Required Skills

- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco Routing & Switching.
- Experience with Cisco Catalyst and Cisco Nexus switches.
- Expertise in routing protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
- Solid knowledge of switching technologies including VLAN, STP, EtherChannel, HSRP, VRRP, VTP.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Wireless technologies (WLC, Access Points, RF optimization).
- Experience implementing and supporting Cisco SD-WAN (Viptela).
- Strong experience with Cisco ISE (NAC, 802.1X, TACACS+, RADIUS, Guest/BYOD).
- Experience with Infoblox DDI/IPAM administration.
- Good understanding of network security concepts including ACLs, VPNs, and segmentation.
- Experience with network monitoring and management tools such as SolarWinds, PRTG, or Cisco DNA Center.
- Knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP, QoS, and multicast.
- Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Experience with Cisco ACI is an added advantage.
- Exposure to cloud networking (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Knowledge of network automation using Python, Ansible, or REST APIs.
- Experience with firewalls such as Cisco Firepower, Palo Alto, or Fortinet.
- Familiarity with ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
