DataStage Associate to support ETL applications and data integration processes. The role involves monitoring ETL jobs, troubleshooting failures, ensuring data integrity, and supporting production data processing environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide production support for IBM DataStage ETL applications.
- Monitor and maintain ETL workflows and batch processes.
- Investigate and resolve ETL job failures and data quality issues.
- Analyse logs, identify root causes, and implement fixes.
- Support data validation, reconciliation, and issue resolution activities.
- Collaborate with database, application, and business teams.
- Handle incident, problem, and change management activities.
- Maintain support documentation and knowledge repositories.

Required Skills

- Hands-on experience with IBM DataStage.




- Knowledge of ETL concepts, data warehousing, and data integration.
- Experience working with SQL, Oracle, DB2, MySQL, or SQL Server.
- Ability to troubleshoot ETL job failures and performance issues.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux commands and shell scripting.
- Experience in production support environments.
- Knowledge of ticketing systems such as ServiceNow or Jira.
- Solid analytical and communication skills.

Preferred Skills

- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Knowledge of scheduling tools such as Control-M.
- Experience in Healthcare, Insurance, Banking, or Retail domains.
- Understanding of data governance and data quality processes.
