*Express Print* is looking for an experienced *Graphic Designer / Pre-Press Specialist* with strong knowledge of commercial printing and print-ready artwork preparation.

*Position:* Graphic Designer / Pre-Press Specialist

*Required Software Skills:*

- *Enfocus PitStop Pro* Strong knowledge required
- *Adobe Acrobat Pro* Advanced knowledge required
- *Adobe Illustrator*
- *Adobe Photoshop*

*Pre-Press Knowledge Required:*

- Must know how to prepare *professional print-ready PDF files*
- Must be experienced in using *PitStop Pro inside Adobe Acrobat Pro*
- Check and correct *bleed, trim size, page size and margins*
- Check *CMYK / RGB / Spot Colour* issues
- Check and correct *image resolution*
- Check *fonts, embedded fonts and outlined text*
- Detect and fix artwork/preflight errors
- Check *overprint, transparency and colour separation* issues
- Add or correct *bleed* where required




- Resize and adjust customer artwork according to final printing size
- Prepare *cutting lines / die-cut paths* where required
- Preflight customer-supplied PDF artwork before production
- Ensure files are correctly prepared for *digital and large-format printing*
- Able to identify printing problems *before files are sent for production*

*Important:*

This position is not only for graphic design. We specifically need someone with *hands-on PRE-PRESS experience* who understands how commercial printing files should be checked, corrected and prepared.

Candidates with experience working in a *printing company / commercial print production environment* will be preferred.
