About the Role

We are looking for a Business Excellence Executive / Analyst with a strong understanding of apparel manufacturing, fashion operations, process improvement, and ERP systems.

The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between Business/Operations and IT, helping the organisation identify process gaps, improve operational efficiency, and translate business requirements into effective ERP and technology solutions.

Candidates with a B.FTech (Bachelor of Fashion Technology) in Apparel Production, particularly from NIFT or other reputed fashion technology institutes, will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities

- Understand and analyse existing business and operational processes across the fashion/apparel value chain.
- Identify process gaps, inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and opportunities for automation and improvement.
- Work closely with Operations, Merchandising, Sourcing, Production, Quality, Supply Chain, E-commerce, and IT teams.
- Translate operational requirements into clear business requirements, process documents, and Product Requirement Documents (PRDs).
- Coordinate with IT/ERP teams for system enhancements, modifications, integrations, and implementation.
- Understand ERP workflows and identify opportunities to improve system-driven processes.
- Analyse operational data using Advanced Excel and other analytical tools to identify trends and improvement opportunities.
- Support production planning, inventory management, vendor processes, quality management, and other operational functions through process optimisation.




- Map existing (AS-IS) and proposed (TO-BE) processes and prepare process flow documentation.
- Participate in ERP implementation, testing, UAT, issue identification, and process validation.
- Work with stakeholders to understand business problems and convert them into practical technology/process solutions.
- Monitor the effectiveness of implemented processes and recommend continuous improvements.
- Prepare MIS, dashboards, reports, and management presentations related to operational performance.
- Support cross-functional projects related to Business Excellence, Digital Transformation, Process Automation, and ERP optimisation.

Required Skills

- Strong understanding of Apparel Manufacturing / Fashion Operations.
- Knowledge of Production Planning and Industrial Engineering concepts.
- Good understanding of ERP systems and business processes.
- Experience or exposure to ERP implementation / ERP enhancement projects.
- Strong Advanced Excel skills including data analysis, Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, dashboards, and reporting.
- Valuable analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to understand complex operational processes and identify improvement opportunities.
- Ability to prepare process maps, SOPs, BRDs/PRDs, and requirement documents.
- Good communication and stakeholder-management skills.
- Ability to work effectively with both business/operations teams and IT teams.
- Interest in technology, automation, AI, IoT, and digital transformation will be an added advantage.

Preferred Educational Qualification

Mandatory / Preferred:

- B.FTech – Bachelor of Fashion Technology
- Specialisation in Apparel Production / Apparel Manufacturing
- Graduates from NIFT will be preferred.
- Candidates from other reputed institutes with equivalent Fashion Technology / Apparel Production backgrounds may also be considered.
