Job Requirements*

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in PostgreSQL Database Development.

• Robust expertise in PostgreSQL, SQL, and PL/pgSQL programming.

• Experience in creating and maintaining Stored Procedures, Functions, Triggers, Views, and Materialized Views.

• Expertise in query optimization, performance tuning, and execution plan analysis using EXPLAIN ANALYZE.

• Strong knowledge of PostgreSQL architecture, MVCC, WAL, Vacuum, and Autovacuum.

• Experience with indexing strategies, partitioning, normalization, and database design.

• Knowledge of Backup & Recovery, Replication, High Availability, and Disaster Recovery.

• Experience working with JSON/JSONB data types and advanced PostgreSQL features.

• Familiarity with Git, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and CI/CD practices.

• Exposure to cloud-hosted PostgreSQL databases is preferred.





Key Responsibilities*

• Develop, maintain, and optimize PostgreSQL database solutions.

• Design and implement complex SQL queries, stored procedures, functions, and triggers.

• Monitor and tune database performance for large-scale applications.

• Analyze and resolve database bottlenecks and production issues.

• Design scalable and efficient database schemas.

• Implement backup, recovery, replication, and high availability solutions.

• Collaborate with application development and infrastructure teams.

• Ensure database security, integrity, and compliance standards.

• Support deployment, migration, and release activities.

• Create technical documentation and promote knowledge sharing.
