- Role Overview: Architect and maintain the data plumbing of an organization, ensuring clean, structured, and high-throughput data flows for analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and optimize robust ETL/ELT data pipelines handling large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
- Architect up-to-date data warehouses and data lakes using platforms like Snowflake, BigQuery, or Databricks.
- Implement data governance, data quality checks, and monitoring to ensure data security and compliance.
- Partner with data analysts and data scientists to deliver optimized data models tailored for business consumption.
- Must-Have Skills: Expert SQL and Python/Scala programming, Apache Spark, Airflow or Prefect for orchestration, cloud data warehouses (Snowflake/BigQuery), and data modeling concepts.
