About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Procurement Manager with 7-8 years of
experience to lead our consumer electronics procurement initiatives. The successful
candidate will be responsible for managing the entire procurement lifecycle, from
sourcing and vendor evaluation to contract negotiation and supplier management. A
solid background in electronics engineering is essential to effectively manage the
procurement of technical products such as mobile chargers, power banks, trimmers,
and hair straighteners etc.
Key Responsibilities
• Strategic Sourcing and Vendor Management: Develop and implement
procurement strategies to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of high-
quality electronics components and finished goods. Identify, evaluate, and qualify
new and alternative suppliers, both domestic and international, to build a robust and
resilient supply chain.
• Price Negotiation: Lead negotiations with suppliers on pricing, terms, and
conditions to secure the best value while maintaining quality standards.
• Cost Management and Optimization: Conduct market research and analysis to
stay informed of industry trends, price fluctuations,
and technological advancements.
Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement cost reduction initiatives without
compromising quality.
• Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams: Work closely with the R&D;, D&D;,
Production, and Quality Control teams to understand product specifications and new
product requirements. Ensure procured components and products meet all technical,
quality, and regulatory standards.
• Supply Chain Operations: Oversee the procurement process from purchase
requisition to final delivery. Monitor inventory levels, track orders, and manage
logistics to prevent stock shortages or overstock situations.
• Performance Monitoring: Conduct regular supplier performance reviews based on
key metrics such as quality, delivery, and responsiveness. Document and report on
procurement activities, spend analysis, and cost savings.
• Risk Management: Develop and deploy risk mitigation strategies to address
potential supply chain disruptions, such as component shortages or tariff issues.
