Job Summary

We are looking for a talented Android Automotive IVI Developer to develop and enhance Android-based Infotainment (IVI) applications and framework components for next-generation automotive platforms. The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in Android Automotive development, AOSP/AAOS, Android Framework, and IVI modules such as Media, Radio, Bluetooth, and Settings.

Required Skills

- Valuable hands-on experience in Android-based Automotive Infotainment (IVI) development.
- Experience in IVI Application development (Media, Radio, Bluetooth, Settings, CCS).
- Strong proficiency in Core Java, Kotlin, Android Framework Components, and OOP concepts.
- Hands-on experience with Android 10 and above versions.
- Experience with AIDL, Binder IPC, Services, Middleware, and Multithreading.
- Good understanding of Android SDK, AOSP, AAOS, and Car Framework packages.
- Knowledge of Static Analysis Tools such as QAC, Coverity, SonarQube,



and CodeSonar.
- Familiarity with MISRA Coding Guidelines and Automotive Software Development Processes.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

- Develop and maintain Android Automotive IVI applications including Media, Radio, Bluetooth, Settings, and Connected Car Services (CCS).
- Design and implement software solutions using Android SDK, AOSP, AAOS, Java, Kotlin, and Android Framework components.
- Develop and integrate Android Services, Middleware, and IPC communication using AIDL and Binder.
- Analyze customer requirements, HMI/GUI specifications, and translate them into software solutions.
- Perform software design, coding, debugging, unit testing, and system integration activities.
- Ensure compliance with automotive coding standards, quality processes, and software best practices.
- Utilize static analysis tools and participate in code reviews to maintain software quality.
- Troubleshoot and resolve software issues during development, validation, and vehicle integration phases.
- Support software stabilization activities during vehicle production and launch events.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including System Engineering, HMI, Validation, and Product Engineering teams.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, sprint planning, development, and release activities.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and technical innovation within the IVI domain.
