We are seeking a Senior QA SDET with strong hands-on skills in Python automation, Snowflake, ETL/ELT, and Informatica-based testing. This role focuses on building and executing automated data validation tests and contributing to the teams overall quality assurance effort.

Key Responsibilities Automation Technical Execution

- Develop Python scripts/frameworks for automated data validation and reconciliation.
- Execute source-to-target validation across Snowflake and ETL pipelines.
- Build and run automated tests for Informatica ETL/ELT workflows.
- Write and execute complex SQL queries for data validation and investigation.
- Contribute reusable automation components to the shared test framework.
- Support CI/CD integration of automated test suites.

Quality Assurance
- Design and execute test cases across functional, regression, integration, and data-quality testing.
- Validate data completeness, accuracy, consistency, uniqueness, integrity, and timeliness.
- Log, triage, and support root-cause analysis of defects within assigned scope.
- Track test execution status, coverage, and defect metrics for team reporting.
- Follow established quality gates, Definition of Done, and release criteria.

Data Domain
- Build working knowledge of assigned business-critical data flows and dependencies.
- Translate business/data rules into concrete test cases and validation checks.
- Collaborate with Data Engineers, Developers, and Business Analysts to investigate and resolve data quality issues.

Collaboration Growth
- Support the Lead QA SDET with test planning, execution tracking, and reporting.
- Mentor junior QA engineers as needed.




- Use AI-assisted testing tools where appropriate, flagging AI-generated tests for review.

Required Skills

Core (Mandatory):

- Python - robust scripting and automation experience.
- Snowflake - strong hands-on experience in data validation.
- ETL/ELT - solid understanding of pipelines and data validation.
- Informatica - working hands-on experience.
- Strong SQL and data warehouse fundamentals.
- Data profiling, reconciliation, and transformation validation experience.

Quality Assurance (Mandatory):

- Test case design and execution (functional, regression, integration).
- Defect logging and basic RCA support.
- Test coverage tracking and reporting.
- Awareness of quality gates and release criteria.

Preferred:

- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines.
- Cloud data platforms / data lakes.
- API testing.
- Interest/exposure to AI-assisted testing tools.

Experience

Recommended: 3.5-5 years, with solid hands-on experience in Python test automation, Snowflake, ETL, and Informatica-based testing.
