Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic and customer-focused Travel Consultant to handle travel enquiries, conduct daily customer calls and follow-ups, prepare customized travel itineraries and quotations, and convert leads into confirmed bookings.

The candidate will be responsible for assisting customers throughout their travel planning process and ensuring excellent customer service from enquiry to completion of the trip.

Key Responsibilities

Customer Calling & Follow-up

- Make daily outbound calls to new and existing travel enquiries.
- Respond to customer enquiries received through calls, WhatsApp, social media, website, and other lead sources.
- Regularly follow up with prospective customers to convert enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Maintain proper follow-up records and update the status of every lead.
- Build and maintain good relationships with customers.

Travel Planning & Itinerary Preparation

- Understand customer requirements, including destination, travel dates, budget, number of travellers, and preferences.
- Prepare customized domestic and international travel itineraries.
- Create and share attractive travel packages and quotations with customers.
- Suggest suitable destinations, hotels, sightseeing activities, transportation, and other travel services.
- Make necessary changes to itineraries based on customer requirements.

Booking & Coordination

- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, airlines, travel partners, and other vendors.




- Assist customers with flight bookings, hotel reservations, transport, visa assistance, travel insurance, and other travel-related services.
- Ensure all booking details and customer requirements are properly communicated and confirmed.
- Follow up on payments and booking confirmations.

Sales & Lead Conversion

- Work towards converting daily travel enquiries into confirmed bookings.
- Achieve assigned monthly calling, conversion, and sales targets.
- Follow up consistently with interested customers and maintain a strong conversion pipeline.
- Generate repeat business and referrals through excellent customer service.

Reporting & CRM Updates

- Update all calls, follow-ups, customer requirements, quotations, and booking details in the CRM/system.
- Submit daily updates on calls made, follow-ups completed, quotations shared, and bookings confirmed.
- Maintain accurate customer and booking records.

Skills & Requirements

- Valuable communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong calling, follow-up, and sales skills.
- Ability to understand customer requirements and provide suitable travel solutions.
- Experience in preparing travel itineraries and quotations.
- Good knowledge of domestic and international travel destinations.
- Ability to handle multiple enquiries and follow-ups efficiently.
- Basic knowledge of travel bookings, hotels, flights, visa processes, and travel documentation is preferred.
- Experience in Travel Sales or Travel Consultancy will be an added advantage.

Experience

1+ year of experience in Travel Consultancy, Travel Sales, Customer Service, or a related field is preferred.
