MAIN REPONSIBILITIES / DUTIES
- Medical Strategy Development
- To develop and lead the implementation of the medical strategy for gastroenterology & aligned therapy areas.
- Provide medical support towards business development and recent product launches.
- Customer Engagement and Insight Generation to close the gap in unmet medical needs, through facilitating local guideline/policy update and implementation.
- Engage with external stakeholders such as HCP associations, academic institutions and key opinion leaders.
- Generate insights through customer engagements / advisory board meetings and translate these into medical strategies to meet the needs of the health system.
- Improve quality patient care through continuing medical education of healthcare professionals.
- Develop partnerships with key external stakeholders (such as medical societies, government, academic institutions, KOLs) to implement programs to bridge care gaps.




- Development and implementation of local data generation programs including but not limited to, real-world data generation and outcomes research.

REQUIRED SKILL SET
- Medical Degree with minimum of MBBS (M.D. or equivalent preferred)
- Overall 5-8 years of experience in pharma / healthcare industry
- Experience in gastroenterology preferred.
- Experience in publications and manuscript writing.
- Holistic understanding of the health system, policy and payor landscape.
- Communication skills, both written and verbal (including presentation skills)
