Role Overview:
We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Materials Science Expert to work on a contract basis. The engagement is managed through the Micro1 platform and is fully remote, allowing work from any location. The contract offers an hourly rate of $80 to $130 based on experience and specific project requirements.

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct detailed analysis of material properties to support client project specifications.
• Develop and validate experimental protocols for testing new material formulations.
• Interpret laboratory data and generate technical reports that align with client expectations.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to integrate material science insights into product development cycles.
• Provide recommendations for material selection, processing methods, and performance optimization.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Demonstrated expertise in materials characterization techniques, including microscopy,



spectroscopy, and mechanical testing.
• Strong background in developing and executing experimental designs for polymers, metals, or composites.
• Ability to translate complex scientific data into clear, actionable recommendations for engineering teams.
• Proficiency with data analysis tools and software commonly used in materials research.
• Experience delivering technical documentation and reports to stakeholders in a remote work workplace.
