Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
Design and develop powertrain systems, including ICE, Manual Transmission, E-Powertrain, Battery Pack, and Motor assemblies.Create, modify, and release 3D models, assemblies, and engineering drawings using CATIA or UG NX.Perform detailed design and optimization of gears, shafts, bearings, and transmission sub-systems.Conduct gear sizing, ratio selection, strength calculations, and micro-geometry optimization to meet performance targets.Support CAE, CFD, Romax, and KISSsoft analyses for design validation, durability, thermal, and NVH performance.Prepare and maintain BOMs, specifications, engineering standards, design guidelines, and release documentation.Apply DFMEA, DFC, DFM, and DFS methodologies to ensure robust, manufacturable, and cost-effective designs.Perform GD&T;, tolerance stack-up analysis, CMM report review, and engineering detailing activities to ensure drawing quality.Coordinate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and manufacturing plants to resolve development, integration,



and production issues.Support vehicle and subsystem integration, manufacturing readiness, and continuous improvement initiatives to achieve quality, cost, and delivery objectives.Should able to work on E-Powertrain components.Should able to work on Battery pack layout and model its componentsExperience
