Product Developer - II | MERN Stack

Key Responsibilities

- Take technical ownership of MERN-based applications and independently understand, debug, enhance, and maintain existing codebases.
- Design and develop scalable, modular, and maintainable product solutions.
- Work closely with Product Managers to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Develop and integrate AI-powered capabilities, including LLMs, NLP, chatbots, analytics, and AI agents.
- Design and develop REST APIs, microservices, and asynchronous applications.
- Identify and resolve scalability, performance, and security issues.
- Contribute to CI/CD, version control, code reviews, testing, and deployment practices.
- Create and maintain technical documentation, including code structure, APIs, architecture, and deployment processes.
- Collaborate closely with Product and QA teams to ensure high-quality and timely delivery.

Required Skills & Experience

- 3-6 years of professional experience in software/full-stack development.
- Strong hands-on experience with the MERN stack: MongoDB, Express.js, React.js, and Node.js.
- Experience building SaaS/product applications, preferably in a startup or fast-paced product environment.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs, microservices,



and asynchronous architecture.
- Experience integrating AI/ML capabilities through APIs or SDKs.
- Exposure to platforms such as OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, TensorFlow, or similar AI technologies.
- Experience or solid understanding of AI-powered applications and AI agents.
- Basic understanding of CI/CD, DevOps, and cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Strong debugging and reverse-engineering skills with the ability to quickly understand unfamiliar codebases.
- Strong understanding of clean code, documentation, software testing, and engineering best practices.
- Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable working independently in an environment with ambiguity and changing priorities.

Good to Have

- Experience working on AI-driven products or HR Tech platforms.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, Nginx, or GraphQL.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum, Jira, and Git.
- Experience using Postman or Swagger.
- Previous experience working with or scaling early-stage/startup product teams.
