Role & responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced SAP SD Consultant / Lead to design, configure, enhance and support SAP Sales and Distribution processes. The candidate should have robust hands-on capability across sales order management, delivery, shipping, transportation/shipment, billing, pricing, credit management and Order-to-Cash process support. The role requires interaction with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams and technical teams to perform fit-gap analysis, prepare functional specifications, test business scenarios, resolve production issues and deliver optimized SAP SD solutions aligned with SAP best practices and project governance.

2. Key Responsibilities

- Configure and support SAP SD processes including inquiry, quotation, sales order, delivery, billing, returns, credit/debit memo and pricing.
- Work on core SD configuration such as sales document types, item categories, schedule line categories, copy controls, delivery/billing types and pricing procedures.




- Support end-to-end Order-to-Cash processes including order management, shipping, billing, account determination and customer master scenarios.
- Conduct requirement gathering workshops, perform fit-gap analysis and convert business requirements into SAP SD functional designs.
- Prepare functional specifications for RICEF / WRICEF objects and coordinate with ABAP or integration teams for custom developments.
- Perform unit testing, integration testing, UAT support, defect tracking, regression testing and deployment support.
- Collaborate with MM, FI/CO, logistics, warehouse and integration teams to resolve cross-module process issues.
- Support incident management, root-cause analysis, change requests and production support activities in line with SLA and governance expectations.
- Document configuration, process flows, test scripts, training material and support knowledge articles for business and delivery teams.
