- Design complex multilayer PCBs using Altium Designer for power electronics and embedded systems applications.
- Work closely with Hardware Design Engineers to convert schematics into optimized PCB layouts.
- Develop PCB layouts for analog, digital, mixed-signal, and high-power circuits.
- Perform component placement, routing, grounding, shielding, and power plane optimization.
- Ensure compliance with EMI/EMC, thermal, creepage, clearance, and safety requirements.
- Generate manufacturing outputs including Gerber files, ODB++, Pick & Place files, Assembly Drawings, and BOMs.
- Create and maintain PCB libraries, footprints, and component databases in Altium Designer.
- Review designs for manufacturability (DFM), testability (DFT), and assembly (DFA).
- Coordinate with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors for prototype and production builds.
- Support prototype testing, debugging, failure analysis, and design improvements.
- Prepare detailed design documentation and release packages.
