Position Summary

The Field Service Representative (FSR) is responsible for troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and technical support of central solar inverters installed at utility-scale solar power plants. The role requires extensive travel across India and readiness for short-term international assignments of up to 90 days to support customer projects and service operations.

Key Responsibilities

- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair central solar inverters and associated equipment.
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
- Support commissioning, recommissioning, and system upgrades.
- Analyse faults, alarms, and performance issues and provide effective solutions.
- Prepare service reports and maintain accurate documentation.
- Ensure timely response and resolution of customer service requests.
- Follow all safety procedures and company EHS requirements.




- Provide technical guidance and support to customers and internal teams.
- Collaborate with regional and global service teams when required.

Required Skills & Competencies

- Strong technical knowledge of central solar inverter technology and power electronics.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and schematics.
- Positive troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Good spoken and written English.
- Team-oriented with a positive and collaborative attitude.
- Ability to work independently in remote field locations.
- Willingness to travel extensively across India and overseas.

Travel Requirements

- Up to 80% travel across PAN India.
- Must be willing to undertake international assignments of up to 90 days.
- Valid passport and ability to travel globally on short notice.

Preferred Experience

- Experience in utility-scale solar, renewable energy, power electronics, or inverter service industries.
- Hands-on experience with central solar inverters, SCADA, communication systems, and electrical equipment.
