Database Developer. Experience: 3-5 years. Location: Gurgaon, Haryana. Department: DE - CXP4. Employment Type: Full-time. Core Skills: Oracle PL/SQL, Microservices. About the Role: We are looking for a skilled Database Developer with strong hands-on expertise in Oracle PL/SQL and exposure to microservices-based architectures. The ideal candidate will design, develop, and optimize database solutions while collaborating with backend teams to integrate data layers with service oriented applications.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain complex PL/SQL packages, procedures, functions, and triggers
- Write and optimize complex SQL queries for performance and scalability
- Perform database tuning, indexing, and query optimization
- Design normalized/denormalized schemas based on application requirements
- Collaborate with microservices development teams to define data access patterns (APIs, stored procedures, ORM integration)
- Support integration of Oracle databases with microservices architecture (REST APIs, event driven systems, message queues)
- Write and maintain scripts for data migration, ETL processes, and batch jobs
- Ensure data integrity, security, and compliance with best practices
- Perform code reviews and troubleshoot production database issues
- Document database design, procedures,



and data flows

Required Skills

- 3-5 years of hands-on experience in Oracle PL/SQL development
- Strong understanding of relational database concepts, normalization, and indexing strategies
- Experience with query optimization and performance tuning (execution plans, explain plan analysis)
- Working knowledge of microservices architecture and how databases integrate with service based systems
- Familiarity with REST APIs, messaging systems (Kafka/RabbitMQ), or similar integration patterns
- Experience with version control tools (Git) and CI/CD pipelines
- Understanding of database security practices and data governance

Positive to Have

- Experience with other databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL) or NoSQL systems
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, OCI)
- Knowledge of containerization tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies

Educational Qualification

Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
