Responsibilities

- Solid understanding of Software Testing concepts, Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and Quality Assurance processes.
- Experience in creating Test Cases, Test Scenarios, Test Data and Test Execution Reports.
- Ensure all testing activities are executed according to defined testing standards, processes and quality guidelines.
- Basic understanding of Software Automation Testing concepts, frameworks and industry best practices.
- Hands-on experience or knowledge of Selenium WebDriver and modern automation testing tools.
- Strong understanding of Core Java, OOPS concepts, Collections and Exception Handling.
- Knowledge of TestNG, JUnit, Maven and automation framework components will be preferred.
- Basic understanding of API Testing using Postman, REST APIs and web services testing concepts.
- Experience with JavaScript, Python or any scripting language will be an added advantage.
- Ability to design, develop and maintain reusable automation test scripts.
- Knowledge of Data-Driven, Keyword-Driven and Hybrid Automation Frameworks.
- Basic understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Testing concepts.
- Exposure to Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins or similar DevOps tools will be preferred.




- Experience in Functional Testing, Regression Testing, Smoke Testing and Integration Testing.
- Ability to identify, document and track software defects using defect management tools.
- Hands-on experience with JIRA, Azure DevOps or similar test and defect management platforms will be preferred.
- Understanding of Web Application Testing, Mobile Application Testing and Cross-Browser Testing concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL and database testing concepts will be an added advantage.
- Ability to analyze business requirements and prepare effective test coverage.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with Developers, Business Analysts and QA teams.
- Experience with Manual Testing will be a strong advantage.
- Ability to work in Agile/Scrum environments and contribute to sprint quality goals.
- Passion for Quality Engineering, Automation Testing and continuous learning.
- Ability to deliver high-quality testing solutions aligned with ELAARSONs Quality Engineering, Automation Testing and AI-driven QA practices.
