Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled .NET Developer with 3-5 years of experience to design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications and backend services. The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET MVC/Web API, SQL Server, Entity Framework, and REST APIs. The candidate will work closely with business analysts, UI/UX developers, QA, DevOps, and other engineering teams to deliver reliable and high-quality software solutions.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain applications using C#, .NET Core/.NET, and ASP.NET.
- Develop scalable and secure RESTful Web APIs and backend services.
- Build and maintain web applications using ASP.NET MVC / ASP.NET Core MVC.
- Develop clean, reusable, maintainable, and effective code.
- Work with SQL Server to design tables, write queries, stored procedures, functions, and optimize database performance.
- Use Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core for database interaction.
- Integrate applications with internal and external APIs and third-party services.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application, API, database, and production issues.
- Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms such as JWT, OAuth2, and role-based access control.
- Write unit and integration tests and ensure adequate code coverage.
- Participate in code reviews and follow coding standards and development best practices.
- Collaborate with QA teams to identify and resolve defects.
- Work with DevOps teams on build, deployment, and CI/CD activities.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
- Analyze technical requirements and provide effective development solutions.
- Prepare and maintain technical documentation.

Required Technical Skills

Backend / .NET

- Strong hands-on experience with C#.




- Strong experience with .NET Core / .NET 6/7/8+ or equivalent modern .NET technologies.
- Good experience with ASP.NET Core Web API.
- Experience with ASP.NET MVC.
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, design patterns, and exception handling.
- Good understanding of LINQ, async/await, generics, collections, and delegates.
- Experience developing RESTful APIs.
- Understanding of dependency injection and middleware.

Database

- Strong hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Good knowledge of SQL queries, joins, subqueries, views, stored procedures, functions, and indexes.
- Experience with Entity Framework / Entity Framework Core.
- Knowledge of database performance optimization is preferred.

Frontend

- Good understanding of HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and AJAX.
- Experience with jQuery is an advantage.
- Exposure to modern frontend frameworks such as Angular or React JS is preferred.
- Experience integrating frontend applications with REST APIs.

Tools DevOps

- Experience with Git, GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps.
- Knowledge of Azure DevOps / CI/CD pipelines is preferred.
- Exposure to Docker is an advantage.
- Experience with Visual Studio / VS Code.
- Familiarity with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, Jira, or similar tools.

Good to Have

- Experience with Azure services.
- Knowledge of Microservices architecture.
- Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of Redis or other caching technologies.
- Exposure to RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus, or Kafka.




- Experience with Angular / React JS / TypeScript.
- Knowledge of Azure Functions or serverless architecture.
- Experience with automated testing using xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest.
- Understanding of application security, JWT, OAuth2, CORS, XSS, and CSRF.
- Knowledge of performance tuning and application monitoring.

Education

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience may also be considered.

Experience

- 3-5 years of professional experience in .NET application development.
- Strong hands-on experience in C#, .NET Core/.NET, ASP.NET Web API, and SQL Server.
- Experience developing enterprise-level web applications and APIs.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.
