Job Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic Application Support Engineer to join our support team. The candidate will be responsible for application monitoring, incident handling, troubleshooting, log analysis, SQL-based issue investigation, and coordination with technical teams.

Responsibilities

- Monitor application health, alerts, and system availability.
- Handle incidents and service requests through ticketing tools.
- Perform L1 troubleshooting and initial issue analysis.
- Analyze application logs and error messages.
- Execute basic SQL queries for data validation and troubleshooting.
- Perform basic Linux/Unix troubleshooting.
- Support application deployments, releases, and post-deployment checks.
- Escalate complex issues to L2/L3 teams with proper documentation.
- Maintain incident records, troubleshooting steps, and knowledge articles.
- Coordinate with Development, QA, Database, Infrastructure, and Network teams.

Required Skills

- Basic SQL and database knowledge.
- Basic Linux/Unix commands.
- Application troubleshooting and debugging.
- Basic networking concepts - HTTP, DNS, TCP/IP, APIs.




- Basic knowledge of Java/Python/C#/any programming language.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Positive verbal and written communication.
- Exposure to ServiceNow/Jira or other ticketing tools.
- Knowledge of monitoring tools such as Grafana, Splunk, Kibana, or Dynatrace.
- Basic Shell scripting.
- Exposure to AWS/Azure.
- ITIL knowledge.
- Basic understanding of application deployment processes.

Qualifications

- Education: B.E./B.Tech/BCA/MCA/B.Sc. Computer Science/IT or related field.
- Experience: 0-1 Years. Freshers with strong technical fundamentals are encouraged to apply.
- Shift: Rotational shifts, including weekends/on-call support, based on business requirements.
