Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Java Developer with 5-6 years of hands-on experience in Java application development and identity access management (IAM). The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and Ping Identity solutions such as PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, or PingDirectory. The candidate will be responsible for developing secure enterprise applications and integrating authentication and authorization mechanisms using Ping Identity.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise-grade Java applications.
- Develop scalable microservices using Java 8/11/17 and Spring Boot.
- Implement secure authentication and authorization using Ping Identity solutions.
- Integrate applications with PingFederate, PingAccess, PingOne, or PingDirectory for Single Sign-On (SSO), OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML 2.0.
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for application integration.
- Configure and troubleshoot identity federation, access policies, and authentication flows.
- Integrate enterprise applications with LDAP/Active Directory.
- Work closely with IAM, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams to implement secure access controls.
- Perform code reviews and ensure adherence to secure coding standards and best practices.
- Troubleshoot production issues related to authentication, authorization, and identity federation.
- Optimize application performance and security.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies including sprint planning, stand-ups, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Prepare technical documentation, deployment guides, and knowledge transfer documents.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-6 years of experience in Java application development.
- Minimum 2-3 years of hands-on experience with Ping Identity products.
- Strong experience implementing SSO, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, and SAML integrations.
- Experience integrating enterprise applications with LDAP/Active Directory.
- Strong understanding of secure coding practices and application security.
- Experience working with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
