Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Java Developer with 5-6 years of experience in designing, developing, and integrating enterprise applications. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, Microservices, and experience integrating enterprise applications with third-party middleware platforms such as Watermelon. The candidate should be capable of developing secure, scalable, and high-performance integration solutions while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

- Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise Java applications.
- Develop RESTful APIs and Microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
- Integrate enterprise applications with the Watermelon middleware/platform using REST APIs, SOAP services, messaging, or other supported integration mechanisms.
- Develop inbound and outbound interfaces between internal applications and external systems.
- Understand Watermelon integration workflows, data exchange formats, and business processes.
- Configure, troubleshoot, and optimize integration services.
- Develop reusable integration components and utilities.
- Work closely with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, QA, and Infrastructure teams during implementation.
- Perform API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and security best practices.
- Resolve production issues related to application and middleware integrations.
- Prepare technical documentation, API specifications, and deployment guides.
- Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities.

- Solid knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
- Experience in API testing using Postman, Swagger, or similar tools.
- Knowledge of secure coding practices and application security.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Excellent debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
