Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced professional with strong expertise in Life Insurance operations and products, combined with advanced Microsoft Excel skills. The ideal candidate should have over 7 years of experience in the Life Insurance industry and possess the ability to analyze business data, prepare MIS reports, automate reporting processes, and support business decision-making. Experience as a Business Analyst within the Life Insurance domain and knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

- Analyze business requirements related to Life Insurance products and processes.
- Prepare, maintain, and automate MIS reports, dashboards, and analytical reports using Advanced Excel.
- Perform data analysis, reconciliation, validation, and trend analysis to support business operations.
- Work closely with business stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements.
- Identify process improvement opportunities and recommend automation using Excel and VBA.
- Support business teams by providing data-driven insights and reports for decision-making.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of business requirements.
- Assist in UAT, requirement clarification, and process documentation wherever applicable.
- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with organizational standards.




- Prepare presentations and business reports for senior management.

Required Skills

- 7+ years of experience in the Life Insurance industry.
- Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including: Advanced Formulas Functions Pivot Tables Pivot Charts Power Query Data Validation Conditional Formatting Lookup Functions (VLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH) Dashboard Creation Data Analysis Reporting
- Strong understanding of Life Insurance products, policy lifecycle, underwriting, policy servicing, claims, renewals, and related business processes.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Robust communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to interpret business requirements and translate them into actionable solutions.

Preferred Skills

- Experience as a Business Analyst in the Life Insurance domain.
- Knowledge of VBA (Visual Basic for Applications) for report automation.
- Exposure to requirement gathering, BRD/FRD preparation, gap analysis, and UAT support.
- Experience with SQL, Power BI, or other reporting tools will be an added advantage.
