Engineer

Job Title: Quality Assurance Engineer
Experience: 25 Years
Qualification: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech Mechanical / Production / Metallurgy
Key Responsibilities
1. Conduct Internal Audits as per company procedures and quality standards.
2. Handle and coordinate Customer Audits and ensure timely closure of audit observations.
3. Maintain and implement ISO 9001 and AS9100 quality system requirements.
4. Coordinate internal, customer, and certification audits.
5. Prepare, review, and implement SOPs and work instructions.
6. Prepare and review Control Plans as per process and customer requirements.
7. Handle Internal and Customer Complaints and ensure timely resolution.
8. Prepare and monitor Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA).
9. Perform in-house calibration of measuring and inspection instruments.
10. Verify and control calibration records and certificates.
11. Maintain Aerospace Customer Records, including job photographs, powder
consumption records, process records, and other required documentation.
12. Maintain Inspection and Test Records (ITR) and ensure proper traceability.
13. Prepare and maintain Certificate of Conformance (COC) as per customer requirements.
14. Conduct or coordinate sample metallography and hardness testing and maintain test
records.

Carry out sample inspection as per drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.
16. Perform in-process sample inspection at different stages of production.
17. Monitor quality during machining, blasting, masking, plasma spraying/coating,
grinding, polishing, and packaging processes.
18. Inspect incoming, in-process, and finished components using appropriate measuring
instruments.
19. Review engineering drawings, specifications, inspection standards, and customer
requirements.
20. Identify quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and coordinate corrective actions
with Production.
21. Maintain NCR, CAPA, inspection reports, quality records, and other QA documentation.
22. Coordinate with Production, QC, Store, Purchase, and other departments for quality-
related activities.
23. Support continuous improvement activities to reduce rejection, rework, and customer
complaints.

Required Skills
• Valuable knowledge of ISO 9001 and AS9100.
• Knowledge of Internal and Customer Audits.
• Knowledge of SOP, Control Plan, CAPA, NCR, and Root Cause Analysis.
• Knowledge of measuring instruments and calibration systems.
• Knowledge of engineering drawings and inspection requirements.
• Understanding of plasma spray/coating and manufacturing processes.
• Good documentation, reporting, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate effectively with shop-floor teams.
