Revenue Accounting Specialist | US GAAP | AR/AP/OTC | Global Finance-2 Years -Mumbai/Gurugram

We are looking for a Revenue Accounting skilled with 46 years of experience to manage revenue accruals, revenue recognition, accounts receivable, deferred revenue and reconciliations. The role offers an opportunity to work with global finance, FP&A; and OTC teams and gain exposure to complex revenue accounting and process improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities -

- Manage revenue accruals, AR, deferred revenue postings and account reconciliations using data from multiple systems.
- Review contracts and determine appropriate revenue recognition treatment under US GAAP and ASC 606.
- Support month-end close, journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations and general ledger controls.
- Analyse revenue trends, variances and forecasts and provide insights to FP&A; and Finance stakeholders.
- Work closely with OTC, FP&A;, Sales, Operations and Finance teams to resolve accounting and reconciliation issues.
- Support SOX controls, internal/external audits, SOP creation and process improvement/automation initiatives.

Requirements -

- 2-6 years of relevant Revenue Accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and ASC 606 / Revenue Recognition.
- Experience working with Oracle / ERP systems, AR and revenue accounting processes.
- Strong Excel skills, including Pivot Tables, formulas and handling large datasets.
- Experience with Alteryx, Tableau or databases would be an added advantage.
- Strong analytical, reconciliation,



problem-solving and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to work with global teams and UK working hours in an on-site environment.
