About the Role

We are looking for a talented and motivated Software Engineer with hands-on experience in both .NET and Python to join our growing technology team. Proficiency in both .NET and Python is mandatory for this role. In this role, you will design and build robust applications using the .NET framework, develop Python scripts for automation and data processing, and contribute to GIS-based solutions. You should be able to write clean, functional code, collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, and demonstrate a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities

- Write clean, scalable code using .NET programming languages (C#, ASP.NET, .NET Core) and Python.

- Develop and maintain web applications, APIs, and backend services using ASP.NET MVC / Web API.

- Build and maintain Python scripts for process automation, data processing, and integration tasks.

- Integrate and automate various workflows using Python libraries (Pandas, NumPy, etc.).

- Test and deploy applications, scripts, and systems across environments.

- Revise, update, debug, and improve existing software and scripts.

- Work with spatial/GIS databases and mapping libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, ArcGIS JavaScript API).

- Collaborate with internal teams to produce software design, architecture, and documentation throughout the SDLC.





- Ensure software is up to date with the latest technologies and best practices.

Requirements

Key Requirements

- MCA / B.Tech / M.Tech in Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.

- Proven experience of 1 to 3 years with both DotNET and Python hands-on proficiency in BOTH is mandatory.

- Mandatory: Working knowledge of the ASP.NET framework, .NET Core, C#, and design/architectural patterns (MVC, Web API).

- Mandatory: Good understanding of Python and related libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Matplotlib, and web scraping tools.

- Knowledge of OOPS concepts, HTML5/CSS3, and web services.

- Familiarity with architecture styles/APIs (REST, RPC).

- Experience with Postgres/SQL Server; ability to write functional database queries.

- Experience in GIS and remote sensing software like ArcGIS, ERDAS, or ENVI will be an advantage.

- Working knowledge of GIS mapping libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, ArcGIS JavaScript API) is a plus.

- Knowledge of Geo server or any other GIS platform will be an added advantage.

- Familiarity with client-side scripting (JavaScript, jQuery) is preferred.

- Understanding of Agile methodologies.

- Proficient understanding of code versioning tools such as Git.

- Valuable analytical, logical, and troubleshooting skills.
