Role Summary

We are seeking an experienced SAP S/4 HANA Project Manager with a proven track record in delivering brownfield ECC-to-S/4 HANA migrations on on-premise and private cloud infrastructure. The candidate must be well-versed in SUM/DMO-based system conversion, technical landscape management, multi-workstream delivery governance, and cutover execution in complex enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

- Own end-to-end project delivery across all SAP Activate phases for brownfield ECC-to-S/4 HANA system conversion on on-premise or private cloud (Azure / AWS / GCP) infrastructure.
- Lead SUM/DMO planning: coordinate Basis team on database migration option scheduling, downtime estimation, system copy timelines, and pre-migration checks (SAP Readiness Check, Simplification List).
- Define and govern the landscape strategy: DEV QAS PRD conversion sequencing, sandbox refresh cycles, and system freeze windows across workstreams.
- Manage multi-workstream delivery governance across FI, CO, MM, SD, PP, QM, EWM, Basis, and BTP integration workstreams with onshore/offshore teams.
- Drive Fit-to-Standard workshop governance: business decision tracking, sign-off management, and scope baseline maintenance through Explore phase.
- Govern RICEFW inventory: custom object prioritisation, functional spec approval, development tracking, and SIT/UAT closure.
- Lead cutover planning and execution: cutover strategy, task sequencing,



parallel run decisions, mock cutover rehearsals, go/no-go criteria, and hypercare planning.
- Manage infrastructure and hosting partner coordination for on-premise hardware provisioning or private cloud VM/storage sizing, HA/DR setup, and network readiness.
- Own data migration governance: object scoping, mock load scheduling, reconciliation sign-off, and cutover data readiness with business owners.
- Manage steering committee reporting, executive escalations, and client C-suite engagement throughout the program lifecycle.
- Drive Organisational Change Management (OCM) and end-user training workstream in coordination with business change leads.
- Track program financials: budget vs actuals, forecast, resource utilisation, and change order management with the system integrator.

Required Skills & Expertise

- Minimum 3 full-cycle SAP S/4 HANA brownfield migrations as Project Manager on on-premise or private cloud infrastructure.
- Hands-on experience governing SUM/DMO execution planning, downtime windows, and pre/post-migration validation.
- Robust understanding of SAP technical landscape: HANA DB sizing, HA/DR (System Replication, Pacemaker), and private cloud hosting (Azure SAP HANA Large Instances, AWS EC2, GCP Bare Metal).
- Deep knowledge of SAP Activate methodology applied to brownfield system conversion scenarios.
- Experience managing large multi-workstream SAP programs with 3060 consultants across onshore/offshore models.
- Proven cutover management track record: mock cutovers, freeze discipline, parallel run, and hypercare.
- Proficiency in SAP Cloud ALM or SAP Solution Manager 7.2 for project planning, change management, and test management.
- Strong stakeholder management: steering committee facilitation, executive escalation, and SI/vendor governance.
- Familiarity with SAP Readiness Check, Maintenance Planner, and Simplification List assessment.
- Experience with MS Project, JIRA, or Azure DevOps for schedule and backlog management.
